West 37th ! Untitled.....

In life you will meet some talented individuals and you wonder. Lately, I wonder no more for I am developing my talent and realizing the growth within. Tonight I faced some obstacles that were beyond my control. As you learn you noticed people with egos and you simply must run. I have launched the CCD brand and currently promoting the true aesthetic. Because of lack of resources I have done certain outreach to bring the brand.... Remember the egos please run when you noticed this around you. I was fortunate to meet some individuals that admire my vision and sure put a smile on my face. But the overall story of what happened backstage was interesting... (Shoot me an e-mail if you need the 411)

Going forward with the positive and burn the negative.

But I want to think my three special who made this night smooth as a silk charmeuse (Joke). They were just amazing and of course my amazing model friend Acacia Mcneil came in time to save me. Acacia is amazing, sweet, kind, strong and always coming to my rescue. Let's just say all the time! When fashion calls she is there. I simply love this 5/11 foot beauty, talk about raw talent ... Acacia you are truly awesome. You have a special in my heart... Here is a backstage shot of my amazing model friend... Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks ladies!!

DREAMING

SIMPLY A DREAM
It was just yesterday I was planning on bringing forth my passion for design. I have been inducted into fashion since young. As a youngster I was exposed to the nature and movements of textiles, patterns and draping. Today, I am bringing forth my art and its simply amazing. This is truly a wonderful feeling. It all started with sketching and then starts hard-work. Here and building a dream of mine. I am sure hard work ahead is simply a luxury that I plan on taking. Determination is carried in my right shoulder. Patience, because, I am not as fortunate as others and is willing to wait till my time comes.

I know that I have a journey ahead of me. But, I can assure you that I am ready. Room to learn and grow is an option because I am simply not perfect. I am ready for battle; meet me on the runway ….

BACK TO BASICS- Spring 2011

BACK TO BASICS

The inspiration behind this collection was Back to Basics. In other words, creating a collection where I felt pieces could be worn during the day and also styled for evening gatherings or weekend festivities. The right accessories could surely bring these key pieces to life. In terms of styling, it would simply be left to your imagination. Go wild have fun with it.

I created some soft silk chiffon tops, blazers, trousers, silk crepe dresses and of course a simple evening dress. For spring 2011, I felt that it would be ideal to create some simple key pieces to add to your wardrobe. A rich color palette of sunburst orange, plums, blues and blacks. Of course simple details, symmetrical cuts around the neckline, lovely low back and splash of rushing on plum color palette.

A woman can never go wrong with a simple silhouette or dress. The idea on adding a simple garment into your own personal closet collection is one smart investment.

With love

BIO

CHARLES CORVSKY DIEUJUSTE was born on the wondrous island of Haiti inheriting in his blood a rich culture, full of life and breathtaking ambiance. This picturesque island, with its plush green mountains and colorful array of flowers, was a backdrop in stimulating his mind and sparking inside of him an ingenious desire to become a fashion designer.

Dieujuste's interest in fashion sparked at the early age of 9 where he was surrounded by a mother who was familiar with textiles and an aunt, a seamstress. Dieujuste took the opportunity to familiarize himself in pattern making and sewing techniques during his frequent visits to his aunt's showroom. It was through this exposure that he was able to teach himself the skills needed to begin his journey. This early experience at a young age coupled with the rich and vibrant environment of New York City, where he currently resides, has allowed Dieujuste to give birth to his introductory collection.

Before the inception of Dieujuste's fashion line he completed a two year internship at a contemporary fashion brand in order to better acquaint himself with the fashion business. Dieujuste learned how to analyze and research fashion trends, develop new materials and techniques, and among other things. Dieujuste’s internship coupled with his educational background in fashion marketing and management provided him with invaluable skills needed to take him to the next step in his journey of becoming a fashion designer.

Dieujuste hopes his unique brand will captivate the fashion world. With each creation he strives to present an aura of feminine aesthetic, romanticism, construction and classical elegance. Infused in every collection by Charles Corvsky Dieujuste is a palette of vibrant colors and a splash of sensuality. He aims to combine the use of luxurious and opulent silk fabrics to promote confidence, elegance and optimism to every woman.

SPRING /2011 BEHIND THE SCENES

This is my first RESORT collection and I am excited about this collection. The idea for resort is simply getting away from the cold winter months. Escape to a destination which would be simply exotic, hot and fun. Enjoy the nightlife or simply a lavish dinner for two. In some cases just escape with friends.

The idea behind this collection was very minimal. I wanted to keep the collection small and the silhouettes minimal with soft details. An amazing color palette and textiles which hugs the body like a glove. I kept the dresses really short and tasteful.

Staying true to my design aesthetic will still remain. The idea of a classical look is something that I cherish. Nevertheless, a little edge wouldn’t hurt from time to time. For now I will just have to keep the idea of simplicity in mind. A couple of investment pieces (The idea of the little black dress), followed by an amazing color story and some sheer tasteful tanks and tops.

Shooting this collection was very exciting. I got to work with two amazing models and an amazing photographer Michael Creagh. The shoot was at his studio in the heart of the Fashion District. You can say that I am on my way. I appreciate the thought of keeping an optimistic thought process where I know my dreams can become a reality.

RESORT 2011 COMING SOON!

Couture, Elegance, Style and Glamour and a splash of VINTAGE.

"Sex and the City 2"

Couture, Elegance, Style and Glamour and a splash of VINTAGE.

Sarah Jessica Parker

All hail to SJP the icon that all girls want to be. Can you honestly fill her shoes? SJP is simply bold, unique and tasteful. At the premiere Sarah Jessica Parker rocked a neon yellow chiffon Valentino gown which had an asymmetrical neckline. The color choice is truly amazing its simply one of my favorite colors. But, this color choice can make you or break you. At the premiere she definitely stood out. Such a powerful, optimistic color and styled to perfection and simplicity.

Kristin Davis wore an amazing hot pink vintage Jean Dessès. The gown had an amazing rushing detail around the bust area cascading all over her body with an amazing drop of fabric around the waist area. An exquisite dress styled exquisitely.

Designer Jean Dessès (6 August 1904 – 2 August 1970), was a world leading fashion designer in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. His designs reflected the influences of his travels, specializing in creating draped evening gowns in chiffon and mousseline, based on early Greek and Egyptian robes. His design aesthetic was simply amazing. A quick search wouldnt hurt to view his master pieces.

Kim Cattrall's amazingly wore an embellished Naeem Kahn gown and was styled with simplicity. An embellished gown with such details can only be styled with simplicity. The idea of adding additional accessories would have been a bit too much. In fashion we simply say less is more.

Cynthia Nixon wore a black strapless Carolina Herrera gown with a simple embellish detail around the bust. The silhouette is simply amazing on her and fits like a glove. She didn’t go overboard with the jewels and kept the gown to its simplicity. I am sure Carolina Herrera would have been so proud.

THE USE OF DESIGNER ACCESSORIES!!!

As I embark on my journey as a fashion designer I think about the ultimate place where the Charles Corvsky Dieujuste girl might wear my Design to. My introductory signature collection gives you a variety of certain pieces for different functions. My kind of girl is simple with an edge and carries forth Ultimate elegance with class and sophistication.

On the left is one of my pieces from my signature label. The bold lame dress embodies true elegance a splash of simplicity and a bold material. This dress can be worn to an evening gathering for sure.

A bold piece as such can be worn with accent shoes such as royal blue, hot pink or whatever your fashion desires. You can also add an oversize clutch with the overall idea and of course you can go crazy on accessories.

Michael Kors Clutch

A Valentino Pump

As far as accessories try using thick chunk necklace with embellished details. Try using accent colors like emeralds, rubies, and colors diamonds. With this silhouette leave it to your imagination.

An amazing piece for the St Erasmus Jewelery Collection.

Be Bold, Different, Sophisticated and Original!

Monday, May 31, 2010

Femininity, elegance and Sophistication are the key elements to my design aesthetic. As a growing brand promoting CONFIDENCE to the women that I dress is Ideal. Lately I have thinking about some characteristic that I think that my customer obtains. I am aware that they are Sophisticated, Elegant but ultimately there’s an infusion of romanticism embedded in them naturally. My target client is a mother, daughter, career driven, goal oriented, a wife and lastly a human being. Overall, at the end of the day their image is what makes them unique to differentiate them from others.

Lately, I found myself sketching romantic silhouettes, from heavily embellished stitching and small-crystal bejeweled Garments to sparkle and unexpected colors. My client’s description to the characteristic of romanticism in what they wear can mean Simplicity. I’m sure you have heard over and over that simplicity is more, even wearing a simple black dress with flats can create some buzz !. Be Original ! Dont allow the expected party to know already what you are wearing, suprised them from time to time.

As I stumbled on my website ,while doing some research for my first collection, I came across look # 4. This look defines a true romantic. The two tiered of the shourlder silk gazar top and the white silk trousers are simple and yet elegant and of course it makes a statement. You dont need to overkill with accesories maybe just some bangles and an oversized clutch your hair pull with soft make-up Do not overkill !!!!. I leave you with this write-up, till next time!
